The Palram Canopia Sophia XL 4000 Grey Clear Door Canopy (706975BUN) is a large modern flat-roof style canopy measuring 3.79m wide with a 1.4m projection from the wall. It suits wide doorways, windows and patio entrances where serious weather cover is needed. This is not a small porch hood at nearly 4 metres across it delivers real shelter.

The canopy uses a 4mm acrylic panel that is virtually unbreakable and transmits 85% of light while blocking harmful UV rays. The panel sits in a powder-coated aluminium profile supported by laser-cut powder-coated galvanised-steel brackets that are completely rust-resistant. It withstands winds up to 93mph and is snow-load tested to 93kg/m².

A front aluminium gutter directs rainwater sideways away from the door so water does not drip onto the threshold. A hidden rear rubber gasket seals the canopy to the wall and stops water seeping behind it. The smart locking system fixes the panel without screws eliminating leak points. Pre-drilled profiles and mounting hardware are included for straightforward DIY fitting.

The Sophia XL 4000 comes with a pre-cut panel, pre-drilled profiles and all mounting hardware included. The smart locking system means the panel does not need screws through it.
