The Palram Canopia Sophia XL 9000 (707293BUN) is a large modern door canopy measuring 8.45m wide x 1.4m projection. That makes it one of the widest canopies available for residential use. It suits wide doorways, double doors, patio areas or windows where serious weather cover is needed. The 4mm acrylic panel is virtually unbreakable and transmits 85% of natural light while blocking 100% of harmful UV rays. It will not discolour or fade in the sun.

The frame uses a powder-coated aluminium profile supported by laser-cut powder-coated galvanised-steel brackets. The brackets are completely resistant to rust. The panel is pre-cut and the profiles are pre-drilled so no complex fabrication is needed on site. The locking system holds the panel without screws which removes any risk of leaks through the panel itself.

A front aluminium gutter channels rainwater sideways away from the door. A hidden rear rubber gasket seals the canopy to the wall and stops water seeping behind it. The canopy withstands winds up to 93mph and is snow-load tested to 93kg/m².

At 348kg packaged weight this is not a solo job and professional installation is available. Profiles are pre-drilled so wall fixing points are already marked.
